The Applied Research and Communications Fund of Bulgaria and the Center for Research and Consulting on Management at Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam won a research project on the topic of knowledge transfer, innovation and R&D, awarded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science.
The Applied Research and Communications Fund of Bulgaria and the Center for Research and Consulting on Management at Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam won a research project entitled "The Impact of Global Relocation of Information Technology Production on the Transfer of Knowledge, Innovation and R&D Spillovers in and out of Bulgarian and Vietnamese ICT Industries: What Other Factors Matter?".
The project is funded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science with the aim to understand the drivers of IT industry and patterns in IT start-ups and to support potential cooperation between companies and organizations from Bulgaria and Vietnam, initially between tenants and clients of both organizations.
Todor Yalamov (ARC Fund) and Tuan Pham (CRC incubator) first met in Hyderabad at the 2nd Global Forum on Business Incubation organized by infoDev and starting thinking about cooperation opportunities. Both organizations hope that this project can serve as a small pilot for sustainable, self-sufficient, cross-regional cooperation.
