Mobile Applications and mLabs

mLab South Asia

The PSEB consortium is collaborating to host the mLab South Asia. The consortium partners include Pakistan Software Export Board, Indus Valley Schools of Arts and Architecture, National College of Arts, Al-Khwarizmi Institute of Computer Science, University of Engineering and Technology, and MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan.

Mobile Social Networking

infoDev has awarded one grant for Mobile Social Networking in South Asia. The award will be for US $35,000 and will be awarded as follows:

Nepal: Young Innovations Pvt. Ltd.

Young Innovations Pvt. Ltd. will support preexisting or establish new social networking hubs and complementary online communication channels to foster collaboration among developers, entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, investors and other technologists working in the mobile field. In addition, the mobile social networking hub will provide vital support for the creation of content for a mobile applications community of practice, along with other mentoring and concept incubation activities.
