In the past year, President Kim challenged the World Bank’s youth to think about how the Bank could foster growth in young professionals who understand the challenges of persistent poverty, and create solutions that eliminate extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity.
Recognizing the creative imagination and fearlessness of youth, the World Bank’s JPA Community and WBG youth are embracing President’s Kim challenge by asking young people around the world to participate in this event.
Prizes will vary depending on the case, but may include a trip to Washington, D.C. to attend the World Bank’s first Youth Summit, and the chance to participate in project implementation.
Lastly, The Youth Summit, scheduled for Friday, October 3, will feature notable panelists and provide a forum for young people from around the globe to share innovative ideas and development products aimed at creating employment opportunities.
