infoDev announces awards for projects that advance the use of ICT for Development

Projects are funded by the Korean Government in an effort to promote ICT for sector development, economic and social growth, and poverty reduction in developing countries.

Proposals were submitted in response to the Call for Proposals under the Korean Turst Fund for ICT for Development. The Korean Trust Fund finances projects chosen followig a competitive selection process of proposals received from operational units for the World Bank.

infoDev has completed the Selection Process for the First Call for Proposals of the Korean Trust Fund on ICT4D. The short list of proposals selected by the Selection Committee was submitted to the Government of Korea for no objection.

After carefully reviewing all proposals received, infoDev's Selection Committee announces the projects selected for funding in this first round of Call for Proposals.

A date for a second Call for proposals has not yet been fixed but will be announced on the infoDev website shortly.

Please note that for each of the proposals, the funding from the KTF on ICT4D will only be committed after signature of the respective Grant Agreements. infoDev cannot be held responsible for any funds committed or expensed before the signature of the Grant Agreements.
