The World Bank's newly relaunched group of blogs includes a site focused on the role of ICT in education.
infoDev has long focused on the role that information and communication technology can play in providing high quality, accessible education to people around the world. Our work has included surveys of ICT for education in Africa and the Caribbean as well as numerous other publications and activities related to the field.
We are excited to announce a new World Bank blog on ICT for education that will provide up-to-date commentary and news in the fast changing world of global education. Posts include a summary of the some experiments with mobile phones for education and a report from the Learning and Technology World Forum. The blog will also be features on Twitter @WBedutech and we invite you to follow along and get involved in both mediums.
Also, be sure to check out all of the World Bank blogs.
