The ISBE 2008 Conference on INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP is promoting excellence in education, research and practice. It focuses on the renewed emphasis nationally and internationally on entrepreneurship in small, medium and large organisations.
ISBE 2008 is being held in conjunction with the 35th International Small Business Congress which has stimulated world-wide interest amongst SME policy-makers and support networks. This is a unique opportunity to present papers to a global audience of specialists in the SME sector. (See www.isbc2008.org)
The 2008 ISBE Conference will be held in the Europa Hotel, Belfast, from Wednesday 5th to Friday 7th November 2008. The Welcome Reception and Networking Buffet will be held at the Odyssey on the Tuesday evening 4th November, with an Irish Night on the Wednesday evening and Gala Awards Dinner on the Thursday evening, both in the Europa Hotel. These social events are optional extras for both ISBE and ISBC delegates.
The deadline for submission of abstracts for Refereed Papers is 31st May 2008. Abstracts for Discussion and Practical papers can be submitted until 30th June. EARLY REGISTRATION for the event is advisable as substantial discounts are offered for those booking by 31st July 2008. Go to www.isbe2008.org/registration.php for full details. Last year the 30th ISBE Conference in Glasgow attracted over 649 registrations, so that the best Hotels and all the Conference places were fully booked up some weeks before the event. With ISBC running alongside ISBE demand for places will be higher than ever.
