Quick Guide: ICT in Education at infoDev (Legacy Portfolio)

Since its inception in 1996, infoDev has provided grants to support dozens of innovative education projects around the world in the belief that technology-enhanced education offers great potential to help overcome the global digital divide.

While infoDev has switched its focus from a primarily grant-making institution to a more research-based organization, and thus has largely curtailed its grantmaking activities in the education sector, past infoDev projects continue to provide useful examples of how ICTs can be used to support education in a variety of ways -- and how they can't.
