infoDev sponsored seminar on competition and NGN for Indonesia and ASEAN members

Task Description
The main goal of this seminar is to address emerging issues in competition management and next-generation-networks (NGN) in the East Asia region, particularly as they effect the ASEAN community.

Strategic Objectives of Task
The seminar will feature presentations by high-level speakers from the public and private sector on NGN network architecture, user needs and development issues, policy and regulation implications, case studies, and competition management, rural access and migration issues. Using these presentations as a starting point, the seminar will provide a forum for representativies from regulators, governments, the private sector, consultants and consumer groups from the ASEAN community to identify the priority policy and regulatory issues that need to be addressed in order to facilitate the smooth introduction and management of NGN.

All seminar presentations will be uploaded to the infoDev ICT Regulation Toolkit website.
