If you’re an aspiring or starting entrepreneur in mobile or web, our Facebook-based competition can be your gateway to free expert coaching, international recognition, and funding opportunities. All you need is a winning business idea and a basic prototype.
Building on the lessons from our m2Work Challenge earlier this year, we will judge submissions based on business feasibility, novelty and innovation, clarity of presentation, and potential development impact.
The challenge will accept submissions through December 24. A jury of high-profile mobile experts will announce up to 10 finalists on January 18; the winners will be released in March.
The public will also have the chance to vote on their favorite finalist from the 10 teams. The submission that receives the most votes online will be awarded the People's Choice Award.
The contest marks the start of our massive expansion into the Caribbean region. Over the next year, we will deploy cutting-edge business support hubs for mobile, cleantech, and women entrepreneurs, as well as funding avenues for new ventures.
Note: Businesses must be based in the Caribbean (Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Belize, Guyana, Suriname) and be web or mobile focused.
