Great ideas can be born anywhere, but they need the right environment to thrive. Entrepreneurs in the developing world often struggle to get the know-how, the know-who, and the funding to take their ideas to market, to establish viable companies and create sustainable jobs.
To support mobile application development and help mobile startups leap from prototypes to profitable enterprises in Southern Africa, infoDev and the Southern Africa Innovation Support (SAIS) Program organized the Mobile Innovation Roadshow-a month long pioneering initiative in mobile innovation in the countries of Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, and Botswana.
