This report is an assessment of the overall effects of infoDev’s mobile application labs (mLabs). mLabs are specialized mobile business incubation and acceleration facilities offering physical workspace, mentoring and coaching, devices for mobile application testing, training, and startup competitions.
infoDev's new Guide for Creating Your Own Angel Investor Group aims to educate entrepreneurs and angels from around the globe. It offers hands-on examples, such as financial worksheets, application forms, term sheets, contracts, and checklists that may be used as templates. The publication is a substantial update of the original Kauffman Foundation’s 2004 guidebook, which targeted a U.S. audience. This international edition is written specifically for newcomers to angel investing, and highlights the successes and challenges of angel groups in emerging and frontier markets.

To this end, business incubators and other types of business development service organizations are playing an important role in providing infrastructure, business advice and mentoring, networking, financing, and security to millions of business entrepreneurs in developing countries that otherwise wouldn?t have the resources to grow and scale up.

This report, which is funded by infoDev's Korean Trust Fund on ICT for Development, contains a comprehensive summary of all activities related to spatial data infrastructure in Jordan. The study, which includes practical recommendations and 15 local case studies, is executed as a Technical Assistance project by the World Bank Group.
This toolkit was made for managers of tech hubs. Dozens of tech hubs have emerged over the last few years across the globe. Managers of these innovation and entrepreneurship enablers grapple with problems that infoDev has experience with. This toolkit takes lessons that infoDev has gathered from its own tech hub pilots, mLabs and mHubs, and apply them to tech hubs in general.
