More than 800 people have registered to attend the Forum, including entrepreneurs, financiers, policy makers, and development experts from around the world. The event promises to include plenty of creative networking and knowledge sharing around the theme of this year’s Forum, “harnessing innovative entrepreneurship for social and economic growth.” The event will include keynote addresses on each day, as well as six focused streams:
Stream A: Maximizing Mobile
Stream B: Financing Innovation
Stream C: The Incubation Lab
Stream D: Green Growth
Stream E: Women Entrepreneurs Roundtable
Stream F: Innovation Ecosystems
Full details about the sessions, including speakers and more, can be found in the Global Forum Program.
Even though it is too late to register for the event, registration for the live stream of the Forum has just begun, allowing for a wider audience to take part in all of the keynote sessions and each of the deep dive streams. This year’s Dragons’ Den, an opportunity for up-and-coming entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to business mentors and financiers, will also be broadcast online.
The live stream gives people who can’t make it to South Africa the opportunity to join the Forum community ‘virtually,’ and be involved in the evolving conversation about how best to support innovative entrepreneurs as they drive social and economic growth. We’ll see you in East London!
