Participants include public officials, regulators, and business leaders from the ECA region with experience or interest in developing policy vision, skills sets, and institutional design in the ICT field.
The initiative will provide cutting-edge skills and knowledge to policymakers, regulators, and students from the region to enable them to respond to emerging market and technology developments in ICT, with a focus on broadband internet and mobile applications.
To implement this initiative, infoDev is partnering with the Center for Global Communication Studies at the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania. Funding for the initiative comes from the Creating Sustainable Businesses in the Knowledge Economy (CSBKE) program, a joint effort by the government of Finland, infoDev, and Nokia. For more information on the curriculum for April, click here.
