The entrepreneurs come from six countries: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo, and Senegal.
Financed by the World Bank Group, NORAD, and SIDA, Jambar Tech Lab is coordinated by CTIC Dakar for Western and Central Africa. Supported by infoDev, similar programs were launched by two other incubators in their respective regions: mLab in South Africa for Southern Africa and iHub in Kenya for East Africa.
During the intensive acceleration week, the entrepreneurs will meet in Dakar with their mentors and program partners. They will benefit from mentoring and coaching sessions on various topics including entrepreneurship, business development, financing, and how to scale up.
Following the immersion week, the winners will take part in a six-month virtual incubation period to identify and boost their products in the African market. A pool of experts, mentors, and innovation hub partners will be at their disposal prior and following the immersion week in their respective countries.
This program of excellence, extended over two years, promises a considerable evolution of digital products and services in Africa. Jambar Tech Lab is the first pan-African network that brought together entrepreneurs, business developers, and investors around a wide range of digital products.
A press conference will take place on July 7th at 10:30 a.m. at CTIC Dakar (3 rue Béranger Ferraud, Plateau). This event will bring together the team that worked on making the project a reality, as well as the main partners. They will present the content of the program and the immersion week.
