Update on infoDev's Global Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

East London, South Africa from May 28 – 30, 2013

The Forum is co-organized with the South African Department of Science and Technology. The event is expected to attract over 600 participants, ranging from entrepreneurs, business incubator managers, policy makers and government representatives, financiers, local and international media, and development agencies for a creative networking and knowledge-sharing experience.

Please see the Program Overview flyer, which gives more details on the various Forum sessions we are planning. These include four Keynote sessions, as well as six deep dive streams, including:

  • Maximizing Mobile: Making the Mobile Revolution Reach Everyone
  • No Risk, No Gain: Models for Innovation Financing
  • When Does it Work? A Practice Lab on Incubation
  • Green and Profitable: Innovation for Green Growth
  • The African Women Entrepreneurs Roundtable
  • Innovation Ecosystems and the Right Policies

We’ve also begun to line up inspiring speakers, a list of which will be made public in the coming weeks as they are confirmed. Our media and social media activities are beginning to gain steam.
