The African Impact Economy Innovation Fund (IEIF)
Details:The African Impact Economy Innovation Fund (IEIF) has been launched to support projects aiming to accelerate the development of the impact investment industry in Africa. Eligible projects go beyond the typical activities of investment funds or social enterprises and provide a public value to advance the scale and effectiveness of the industry as a whole. Proposals can request a maximum of US $100,000 for up to a 12-month period. A priority will be placed on proposals from organizations based in Africa. The submission deadline has been extended to June 30th.
Details:This request for expressions of interest (EOI), concerns research and production of three country case studies (you may propose any three from among Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Mozambique or Zambia) to identify successful business models for mobile applications used by the “base of the pyramid” market segment, i.e. among the poor who live on less than $2.5 a day.

Details:After the conclusion of a number of co-incubation and internationalization pilots, infoDev will codify the lessons learned into a report titled "Lessons from Co-Incubation." The document will serve to expand internationalization best practices to our global incubation network. The lessons learned will be highlighted at the Global Forum 2013.
